In a field of 84 entries, SOL garnered best actor honors for 11-year-old Kj Saifullah at the 2012 Atlanta 48-Hour Festival. Around 2am on Saturday, June 15, Director Mark Falls selected a story by writer Tom Rittenhouse from roughly 30 scenarios the team had generated since genre selection, held at 7:30pm the previous evening. With a final draft on paper at 5:30am, the cast and crew embarked on a 38-hour frenzy of shooting, cutting, scoring and post production. It was amazingly fun.  Check out the SOL trailer here.
